About Colchester Guitar Lessons

Welcome to Guitar Lessons Colchester! My name is Colin and I am a professional music teacher, with many years teaching experience across an array of different genres. In my earliest time as a music teacher, I helped to set up and run the Brentwood Guitar Studio before moving to Colchester several years ago. Since then, I have taught music at the University of Essex as well as teaching privately. Amongst my private students I have taught Paul Allender, of The Blood Divine and, later, of Cradle of Filth - as well as numerous other students from beginners upwards.

I specialise in teaching rock, classical and folk styles of music. Where examinations are required, classical music grades can be taught through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I can also offer bass guitar tuition and am fully DBS Checked.

I am a mobile teacher, meaning that I will travel to your home for lessons - enabling you to learn in the comfort of your own home. However, as a result, students need to live in or close to Colchester. For more information about my guitar lessons or to book your first lesson don't hesitate to email me at info@guitarlessonscolchester.com or call 01206 688057.

Acoustic & Electric Guitar

My lessons are built around my student's musicial preferences, ensuring that they learn at a pace that is right for them. For those pupils who are interested I also offer classical guitar grading through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) - though this is entirely optional, with many of my students simply learning for pleasure. I also teach all ages, from beginners upwards - helping students with no prior experience learn to play the guitar.

To book your first lesson or to find out more about my mobile guitar tuition simply get in touch by calling 01206 688057.
