Welcome to Guitar Lessons Colchester! My name is Colin and I am a professional guitar teacher with many years teaching experience, helping my students learn rock, classical and folk styles of music.
I have taught music at the University of Essex as well as teaching privately as a mobile guitar tutor throughout Colchester - so I am happy to travel to you to teach you in the comfort of your own home.
My lessons are built around you. I always want my students to learn in a direction that they enjoy and want to pursue. From experience, this always produces the best results.
My lessons are an hour long & are taken from the students own home.

My lessons are built around my student's musical preferences, ensuring that they learn at a pace that is right for them. For those pupils who are interested, I also offer classical guitar grading through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) - though this is entirely optional, with many of my students simply learning for pleasure.
I also teach all ages, from beginners upwards - helping students with no prior experience learn to play the guitar and reach their guitar playing potential.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

I am an experienced teacher in Colchester helping students in the area develop your guitar skills & become more confident in their playing ability. I currently only offer hour long lessons & these are priced at £25 per hour.
I am a mobile guitar teacher, so will travel to you to provide guitar lessons in the comfort of your own home. I have found that students learn well within the comfort of their own homes, helping my pupils build confidence as well as vocal strength and ability.
My lower age limit is 6 years old, however, the is never an older age limit so do get in touch. For younger students, I have developed a course of lessons to ensure that they really get the most out of learning guitar.
Not at all - don’t worry if you cannot read music, I have the material written in music notation and/or tablature and will help you to understand how music can be read.
Lessons are entirely built around you. I want all of my students to learn the music they love as this creates a great experience for everyone.
